    Emergency medical services (rescue squad) are provided to the Town of Brighton by the Village of Salem Lakes Fire & Rescue Department and Kansasville Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department. Public Safety Home > Town Services > Public Safety Police services are provided through the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department. The department can be reached by telephone (non-emergency) at 262-605-5100. Dog owners are required to keep their pets on their own property. Hoofed animals (except pygmy goats and pot-bellied pigs with permit) cannot be kept on any parcel of land less than 5 acres.
