The Town of Brighton does not maintain a public works department.  All public works projects are contracted out.  Capital projects and public works projects are recorded and approved through the annual budget for the town.

The Town Board meets for an annual roads meeting and road tour to review the condition of town roads. The meeting date and time is posted and published for town residents who wish to attend. The Town of Brighton has 16 miles of town roads.
